Scratch Deli and Baker in Estes Park

Excellent deli sandwiches. Large hiker size portions, and the don't sell 1/2 sandwiches, so plan on splitting. My delicious black and blue sub on french bread was 12 inches. The potato salad is fresh and homemade. They welcome call ahead to go orders!

This place is excellent. Fast, friendly service and quality ingredients that result in a delicious product.I recommend the veggie wrap with turkey and Sriracha aioli instead of the pesto and cream cheese.

My boyfriend and I had a long weekend hiking and this was the perfect touch to the end of our trip. The food is phenomenal!!

Stopped in on a whim before a drive. I got the Black & Blue and my wife got the Turkey. Both were just fantastic! I love a good sandwich and they did not disappoint. I will make sure we stop here every time we visit Estes so we can try all the other options.

I had the BEST RUBEN OF MY LIFE here. My wife got the grilled cheese and it was also amazing. If I come back to Colorado, I'm definitely stopping here again.

Get here early! They run out of food because it is so great. We ordered 4 breakfast burritos and ate them throughout exploring Rocky Mountain National Park. It is literally 30 seconds from the Beaver Meadow park entrance. Fuel up and get grub for your RMNP adventures!

This place deserves WAY more than five stars!!! Stopped here last minute before heading to our next destination. Their sandwiches are beyond delicious. I got the Spicy Chicken Salad, one of the best I've ever had. The sriracha really compliments it, while not being overpowering. My partner got the Black & Blue, he loved it. The staff is really cool, hardworking, friendly people! We will definitely be returning in the future.

Grabbed a breakfast sandwich here that was really good and a huge sandwich! The prices were fine and we had no wait at around 8am on a Saturday. Kinda confused about the bakery part, didn't see any pastries which was a bit disappointing. Also, not a great spot for vegetarians. My boyfriend got a breakfast burrito with no meat and said it was pretty tasteless.

Excellent Rueben and service, probably the best Rueben I've ever had in my travels, and I travel alot! I would recommend this place to anyone who loves a great quality sandwich and service. They definitely take pride in their sandwiches and it shows, I will definitely come back here again while in Estes Park!

This place was a real good find! I am from NY and it is very difficult to get a good sandwich in Colorado. I got the turkey sandwich and my friend got a roast beef. It seems that all their meat is smoked and served on toasted bread exactly the way it should be. We were there on a Saturday afternoon and the place was slammed. The kitchen crew was working really hard to keep up with all the orders and still maintained a sense of humor and friendliness. I would highly recommend this place!

We stopped in to grab some sandwiches before we headed up into the park, they suggested we do the cold meats for “travelers” they were AWESOME. The bread was so fresh and delicious, they pile on the toppings and really make it worth it, we ended up each having the second half of our sandwiches for the second day hiking. They were perfect and everyone loved their sandwich (there were 8 of us). Sides were delicious too! Highly suggest this place, will be stopping back to try a hot sandwich next time we stop through!

Incredible location, taste, portion size, and price. Staff was super friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. The breakfast burritos were huge and delicious, and priced way under what I'd have expected for the size and quality of ingredients. I'm a reasonably big dude and I've never been full off half a $6 burrito before. Will 100% go back next time I'm in town.

This shop is for the locals, the out of towners, the regulars; they're for whomever wants a sandwich that tastes fresh and absolutely delicious. It's perfect for a sandwich post hike, especially being right outside Rocky Mountain National Park off of 36. They said that they brine their own meats, bake their own breads, and put major love into their pastrami and corn beef; over a month of curing, like ya do!Major s/o to the staff who provided a fun and chill experience, oh and great food! Can't wait to come back for more! Maybe breakfast before the hike, this time!

Quaint little deli with enormous delicious sandwiches. You have choices for bread, cheese and meats. There are chips available as well as potato salad, muffins and cookies. It is pricey but it is likely that 2 people can spilt one $12 sandwich. The staff was pleasant and the service was quick! There are some bar tables to sit and eat at inside.

Absolutley amazing. We had hoagies and breakfast burritos and they were all delicious. No complaints. They were also really cool about packing up the sandwiches for hiking so they didn’t get soggy.

The service was excellent and super friendly. We ordered a BLT, Pastrami, and Reuben (minus the sauerkraut). They were quick to make the sandwiches and they were delicious. The corned beef is close to the best I've ever had. Great place to stop on your way into the park for a picnic lunch.

Awesome large breakfast burritos that are freshly made! Have tried three different ones and all were great. Great prices for the burritos! Haven’t tried their lunch menu yet! Good friendly service.

Found myself in the mood for a sandwich and came across this place. Broke my rule by not looking at the reviews first but man did it turn out well!They have a large menu of many different types of sandwiches that all calm piled high with meat. I’m sure if Feji is your option… They will pile those just as high!There also a good selection of cold salads to choose from as well.The bread was incredibly good and the meats were tender and seasoned really well.Service was prompt And friendly. We did get there on the backside of a rush and it took about 20 minutes to get our order. However, they just gave us more time to sit back and enjoy the view.

Possibly the best sandwich shop I’ve ever been to. Everything was absolutely delicious. Yes, it is more expensive and a bit slower than Subway or Jimmy John’s. But the quality of the sandwich is on a totally different level. We will be back every single time we come to Estes Park.

This place is small inside with some counter seating, so take-out might be your best choice. They have limited menu choices and no attempts to make vegetarian or vegan options. My partner said her breakfast was average so there is no reason for us to return.

Breakfast burritos are wonderful as are the cinnamon rolls. Fast and friendly service in a beautiful setting.

Delicious huge sandwichs!

The homemade breads are very good, high quality ingredients for sandwiches too. They seemed to have some production challenges today because our order of 4 sandwiches took 30 minutes. They did not compromise on quality which was a plus and the free carrot cake was very nice too. Overall this is a solid spot for a nice bite.

The breakfast burritos here are off the chain! Prices are very reasonable as well. And to top it off you will have to try the pecan sticky buns!

Every time we come to Colorado this is a MUST stop by RMNP. We just tried their breakfast sandwiches this time around AND THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT. We could go on and on about this place, it’s just absolutely phenomenal. Just stop reading this review and go try one of their amazing sandwiches!!!

Best sandwich place that I have ever been to. It is pricey, but the fresh in-house smoked meat is to die for. I wanted roast beef, but they ran out for the day, so I had pastrami instead. Not even sad about not getting my roast beef, the pastrami was awesome. My wife got the turkey avacado sandwich and said it was excellent. The service was good, they always seem busy though, and they run out of ingredients occasionally. Really great view from the front porch and minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park. Grab a sandwich and go to the park!

Definitely a must-stop for breakfast on your way to RMNP! Breakfast burritos were quite large and super tasty! The best by far was the chorizo. The staff was very friendly and helpful, in spite of being shorthanded and recently overworked. I definitely appreciated their enthusiasm despite recent situations/challenges (ie: Covid, new rules, etc.)

Homemade baked treats with deli sandwiches. We had the cinnamon roll and big cookies and they are definitely worth the stop off. The deli sandwiches looked so good I almost had a second lunch.

Great place. Coffee muffins sandwiches service all perfect. Visiting from SC and dropped in for breakfast during visit. Recommended.

Went during tourist season so they were pretty busy no matter what time it was. Though, regardless the season, you will be waiting as it is all cooked and made as you order.Every item we got was delicious and well worth the wait. We went in the morning for breakfast burritos and then in the afternoon for sandwiches. Corned beef is especially good, and made in-house. The prices are VERY good, especially for being in the middle of Estes Park tourist town. I highly recommend to anyone who can appreciate a good sandwich. We will be returning very soon. :)

This place is AMAZING! The breakfast burritos were so delicious and the sticky buns were fresh from the oven! It takes a minute to prepare so be patient! Good things come to those who wait! Will certainly visit again. 👍

Had the pastrami on French bread. Excellent! Every sandwich is truly made from scratch and they warm the meat and cheese. They put love into these sandwiches.
